In August, people in the local area will be able to get copies of Naturally Good Magazine. We hope that it will eventually have nation-wide distribution. It is something I have been working upon with my family, and it is one of the reasons why I have been so busy recently. Feel free to view the cover of the premier edition, and our leading stories at the Naturally Good Magazine site.
Every article in the magazine will be posted with loose copyright restrictions to the Internet, because it is grossly immoral to restrict health information from people for the sake of greed. Most other publishers do not exactly espouse the good Samaritan approach. This is merely one of many ways in which our magazine is far from being a typical publication.

Unfortunately, I got very little accomplished this weekend. I will get back to work now, since the week has begun again. So much needs to be done. I still have touch-up work to do on Chapter 5 ("R"), and when I was looking through the notes, I found extra details which must be included in Chapter 3 ("Bad Cop - Worse Cop"). I have lots to do at the moment, even at the times when I am not working with the book.
I have been researching alternative medicine recently. Some of my research is compiled and placed into the forum in the health section. This process is usually very time consuming because there seems to be cover-ups about cures, while information regarding treating symptoms is in plentiful supply. Most doctors and nurses are likely very honorable people, but their industry is rank with corruption stemming from the highest corridors of power. Treatment is a much more profitable approach to diseases for the establishment than curing them; especially when curing them is relatively easy using natural substances. This is the case for the overwhelming majority of health conditions.
Take the case of Chinese red rice: which is as effective as pharmaceutical cholesterol medications, and of course, safer and cheaper. It can be found cheaply in concentrated capsule form in health food stores. Red rice is unlike the toxic synthesized medications produced by the establishment, and treatment with red rice furthermore stimulates the production of the beneficial HDL cholesterol to repair the previous damage done by lifestyle and pharmaceutical medications. It is never mentioned because no corporation could ever hope to obtain a patent monopoly on red rice to extract a premium price. The establishment's cholesterol treatment approach is one of suppressing the chemical poisons ("bad cholesterol") which are being consumed in the diet with even more chemical warfare. It is every bit as wise as treating cancer with a cancer causing agent such as radiation. Can you smell the money? The rice companies and retailers are forbidden by the FDA in the U.S. from even mentioning the benefits of red rice, because this would be making "medical claims". Read about the
FDA censoring cherry growers, because cherries have been found to be more effective than prescription COX-2 arthritis medications. So, the FDA is not really there to protect you. Its real job is to protect the pharmaceutical industry. Only corporations which have paid their dues to the FDA are allowed to make medical claims in the U.S.
In order to help a friend, I had to study ferrets on several sites of veterinary medicine. Veterinary researchers are not pressured to suppress the true causes of diseases, or cures, so veterinary medicine is sometimes much more helpful than the establishment's data when trying to do useful research. When I need to understand the root cause of a condition, I sometimes also reference TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine).
My most recent research is around the connections between diabetes and cancer, which is sometimes admitted by the establishment, before the topic is nervously changed. I believe that in many cases the cancer treatments with pharmaceuticals lead to diabetes. Although, I believe that there is also a connection to the same dysfunction in cases of true spontaneous diabetes, but I do not wish to say more until I have researched further.

I had an enjoyable day today. I worked on the book for most of the day, but we all decided to go out in the late afternoon. We decided to go to Rich Park with Zach, because he had been asking us to go all morning. I am glad we went. Watching cartoons all the time is not healthy for him, and it got us all out of the house.
While we were at the park, Zach played with another child who was a year or two older than him, and a few inches taller. Watching them play made us realize how a chemical-free diet had helped him. Zachary was much stronger, faster, and better all around. In every way, he was physically better off. It is extraordinary that people simply do not realize that the foods they feed their children will affect them forever. It is also important to note how the foods parents eat (regardless of whether it is fed to the child) will also affect their son or daughter.
I am not referring to some kind of 'passive chemical eating'. I am referring to the cancer, or the heart disease, or the Alzheimer's disease, or the strokes that the parent will almost certainly get while the child grows up. These all affect children, especially if they must watch a parent get buried, or if they are compelled to care for a parent who can no longer remember their children's names. This is really something to consider for those parents who feed their children a natural diet, but do not look after themselves.
We left the park after a couple of hours, and decided to go and play a game of billiards in downtown Mocksville. It was Thomas and Zach verses Me and Andrea. We had a good time, and the final score was 1-1.

I feel like going outside to jog. I am full of energy and I am happy. There is a story behind this that I think you should hear.
Yesterday I decided to try a few juice drinks in place of meals, as recommended by a close friend and family member. Most people who start 'juicing' do it for the purpose of losing weight at a rapid pace; but I did not. I have never been on a diet for the purpose of losing weight because I never found my weight to be a problem. Of course, I have the insecurities that all women seem to, about my appearance; but not much more.
In fact, the main reason that I would go on a so-called 'diet' is for the purpose of feeling good. I could never use chemical dieting products to help me achieve this as they would simply put a halt to my appetite, and that is not my intent. I want to feel good, energized and happy, without being constantly hungry. Only the last of these specifications would I be able to fulfill while on a regular diet of carbohydrates and red meats. On a juicing diet, your intake is fruits, vegetables and water. The idea is that you feel full from the liquids which are found in these fruits and veg, yet you are not eating calories, so lose weight anyway.
This is great for someone who wants to lose weight, but I do not. I am 115lbs, and 5ft 6, so that is the last thing I have in mind, in fact, I would be quite happy to put on a little weight. I understand that it would be very difficult to put on weight, while eating a diet of fruit and veg; but I think that having a positive outlook is important in everyones life, and this can be effected by diet. If a person eats the right foods, they begin to look vibrant and feel great. When a person (especially a woman), looks in the mirror and is happy with the way that they look, it will give them a huge boost in self-esteem. This affects their whole day, and often the quality of day that their loved ones have too. This is why diet is incredibly important in families.
In order to stop myself from losing weight, I am eating some 'protein-rich' foods too, but I have cut out red meat and most carbs. I will write an article about the dangers of red meat soon. This is one of the worst things a person can eat when they are sick.
On the Christian Writers Board, I have written up some of the recipe's that I tried and I have included my opinions with them. Some taste incredibly good, whereas another it took me three hours to drink it, so I can say that taste definitely varies between recipes. I certainly feel a lot better today that I have done in the last few weeks. I have not been sick recently but my diet has not involved fruit and veg which is now helping to maintain an healthy body, emotionally and physically.

Today me and Andrea built a frog pond in the yard. It took about 3 hours, which seemed like forever in 90 degree heat, with high humidity. It holds 50 gallons of water, but we did not build it because we wanted water in the yard. Instead we built it because we wanted frogs to kill our insects.
We have mosquito's everywhere outside, and Japanese Beatles which are eating our plants up. Because I am so fair skinned, mosquito's seem to swarm me, and I am always the one who gets bitten the most. I always wear insect repellent (even though it is really unhealthy and I need to make some organic repellent), and we have a citronella torch out there too. It was not too bad today while digging because of the citronella, but I should not have to have that running constantly. Frogs will eat all of the insects and make it much nicer outside.
None of us have seen such a large amount of mosquito's in one location like this, but unfortunately, we can't do much about the cause. Seen as mosquito's breed in water, they breed in the stale water left in our neighbors' gutter which they never clean out. Everyone else in the neighborhood does, but our interesting neighbors never really see fit, much to the disappointment of everybody else.

I'm doing a lot better now since taking herbal medication to speed up the healing process and boost the immune system. Our two rabbits seem to have finally bonded well after some initial quarreling over dominance, they now groom each other happily.
We have been practicing Karate daily recently, and I believe that it is helping my overall health (activity is well-known for helping sickness), and I feel much happier during the daytime, along with much more confident. I think that overall there are numerous ways in which this can and will be of benefit. I may add some more pictures of us practicing soon.

I have not been feeling well at all today, constantly tired and feeling zoned-out. I took an 'Echinacea' tablet which should help to boost my immune system if I am getting sick. It's strange when you can look at a herbal pill container and not see millions of scary side affects printed on the side.

We ordered some new seeds from the internet yesterday as there are some medicinal herbs that we can't find for sale in supermarkets or DIY stores. The only reason for no sale is no demand... the average person who goes to a gardening area looks for plants with a nice smell or appearance, yet they are not our priorities. We are looking for herbs that will help when we get sick or when people we know are sick. Most people are too ignorant or simply don't have the time to 'worry' about this.
I feel like getting something done today, though I am not sure exactly what to do. I have a lot of energy today. I feel alive. I have done a lot of cleaning simply because it puts me in a positive frame of mind, now I am ready to succeed at something but unfortunately it is raining outside which significantly limits my options.

Recently I have been having a great deal of success with herbs, which have been newly planted. Although, time is running out to plant new seeds, which will not germinate properly in too much heat (the temperature at the moment is around 80F). Today I have been planting some more vegetables including hot and mild peppers, tomato's, Recently I have been having a great deal of success with herbs, which have been newly planted. Although, time is running out to plant new seeds, which will not germinate properly in too much heat (the temperature at the moment is around 80F)carrots and lettuce. Whilst trying to plant these I have had a growing problem with poison Oak and ivy growing in the yard, which I obviously cannot remove by hand and need to use weed killer. Not that this is usually a problem, but I cannot plant new seeds until 2 weeks after the weed killer is originally sprayed.
My lavender is growing well, along with my apple tree. The only problem with my Granny Smith apple tree, is that is seems to be wilting a lot, and I am not sure why. Possibly it is being over-watered, or perhaps it is still in shock from it's transition. Any advise about this would be appreciated.

I feel tired and droggy today. I believe my immune system is fighting something off, but at the same time my body clock is out as I work best at night. Although this is the case it is not best for the body so I need to get my body clock re-assigned to sleep when it's dark.
I have done some more work on 'hazardous drinking water'. I think I will probably leave it alone for a little while now and perhaps add another section on health sometime soon. Leave any comments about that page on any of the general posts, thanks.
