We have included this page to let our readers know our position concerning the
promotion of alternative therapies. We do not take our positions lightly. As
a publication, our most important asset is our credibility, and a reputation
once lost is difficult to regain. In nobler times, disinformation spelled an
immediate doom for a publication. However, misleading information abounds,
with little resistance nowadays. We shall endeavor to never lack credibility,
as so many of our peers do, even though it is obvious that times have
drastically changed. If we allow mythology to develop around alternative
medicine, then we will be no better than our adversaries, and more importantly,
we would be playing a direct role in harming people. Thus, we must be
relentless in the pursuit of truth. Anything else is unacceptable.
It is unfortunate that the standard allopathic medical establishment does not
have a monopoly on misinformation, disinformation, fraud, and incompetence.
These things occur in our community too, and much more often than we like to
believe. They are a great disservice to alternative medicine.
'Help' From The FDA
Fraudsters have maligned the reputation of alternative medicine with so many
absurdities that one must ponder what percentage of them are being carefully
orchestrated by the other side; with the sole purpose of eliminating
competition. We have historically seen that the FDA approves, or at least
condones, only alternative treatments which are ridiculously bogus, as they
have done with detoxifying foot pads. Its reaction is diametrically different
for alternative therapies that actually work, such as
colloidal silver,
and oxygen therapy (just ask the people who try to sell those). We are not
joking when we write that the FDA claims oxygen is not safe or effective to
administer whenever it is administered by someone competing with its
establishment. The agenda is so very clear. Receiving FDA approval, or
complicity, is a certain sign that an alternative treatment is a fraud that is
likely to eventually lead 'consumers' back into the arms of the pharmaceutical
corporations which it partners with.

close, but they needed only to promote one fraud for the damage to be done:
