Fire Safe Cigarettes and the Genocide Against Smokers

Written by Print  E-mail
Fire Safe Candles! Self extinguish every 2 minutes, with enhanced ethylene and vinyl acetate aroma therapy, so your family can breathe a little easier!

It is near sacrilege to publish anything that in any way defends smokers. Brace yourself, for you are about to read such a sacrilege. For the sake of political correctness, let us preface by noting that smokers are hellishly evil creatures, for they savagely murder our innocent children with their second-hand death gas. Now we can move on with political correctness satisfied.

As a collective society, we have come to view anything tobacco-related as evil, and its users as needing to be stoned (in the biblical sense). Because of the almost religious anti-tobacco dogma nowadays, what follows might be difficult for some readers to believe.

The first smokers were the American Indians. They also gave us cannabis (marijuana), which was a favorite choice inside peace pipes. For hundreds, if not thousands of years, the American Indians frequently smoked unfiltered and organic tobaccos, for which the smoke was 10 times stronger than any cigarette sold now. The Indians did not get lung cancers. They suffered from no major diseases at all. They did not even suffer from allergies, despite living outdoors constantly. It is similar to the situation with the modern-day, unvaccinated Amish. It was not until the English and the Europeans began importing the European diets, long-term food storage, and the overall European lifestyle that serious diseases appeared in Indian tribes. The Old World diseases struck them with an ugly vengeance. Entire tribes were wiped-out in days, because the Indians had never needed to develop an immunity against European pathogens.

No Indian was ever killed by tobacco before modern cigarette processing became normal. Our modern killer-tobacco is not the same tobacco that was smoked by their forefathers around camp fires. As an interesting aside, there still have been no deaths attributed to marijuana, ever. If marijuana were regulated and 'enhanced' by the same chemical industry partners and governmental regulators that manage our cigarettes, foods, and drugs, then marijuana would become cancerous too. The pharmaceutical industry would not tolerate safe marijuana anymore than it tolerates safe cigarettes. Marijuana is actually a greater threat, because it has potent medicinal qualities, and that is why the public must be made to fear it.

Like our foods and medicines, modern tobacco is 'enhanced' by the chemical industry, and now our foods, medicines, and even tobaccos comprise an unholy trinity of death. In modern cigarette smoke, the chemical compounds outnumber the tobacco compounds over 100-to-1. Every one of these intentionally added chemicals is toxic and most of them are carcinogenic. There is some truth to the belief that most (if not all) tobacco companies are evil, because what they do to their own customers is truly evil. None of it is necessary. We are frankly baffled by the insanity of it all. Cigarettes, like medicines and foods, do not need to be poisoned, but all of them tend to be quite toxic in this era, thanks to adulterations.

It is getting much worse for smokers in America. Since January of 2010, in 49 out of the 50 states, there has been a legal requirement that a much worse poison be added to all cigarettes. The new state laws require that cigarette manufacturers poison smokers with something worse than we have seen before, like a state-mandated genocide against smokers. Please have the compassion to help us get the message out, even if you personally despise smoking and smokers. It is the right thing to do.

Cigarettes now must contain ethylene/vinyl acetate copolymer, which is literally carpet glue. It is known to cause tumors in mice, but inhalation of its smoke has never been tested on humans. The Material Safety Data Sheet for this substance notes that it produces toxic fumes when exposed to fire. The new "fire safe" cigarettes are made with 3 layers of paper, which requires triple the glue of past cigarettes. They contain what are referred to as "speed bumps" (made from carpet glue) all the way down the shaft. These are designed to reduce oxygen flow, so that the cigarette will quickly extinguish if nobody is inhaling it. This often puts the cigarette out too early, causing the smoker to re-ignite several times throughout a cigarette. It forces the smoker to inhale more deeply and more frequently than they otherwise would, whilst they smoke a considerably more toxic cigarette. We call this deadly by design.

Activists have been campaigning for decades to get tobacco companies to remove other substances that are toxic when smoked, such as citrates, phosphates and calcium carbonate; which are added to ensure that cigarettes do not self-extinguish. Instead of just removing these burn accelerators, tobacco companies instead added carpet glue. Their logic for appeasing law-makers is hopelessly flawed. Newspaper articles which blame the victims for cigarette-induced fires with headlines like "House Burned Down by Reckless Cigarette Use", neglect to mention the fact that cigarettes contain burn accelerators, which should rightly place the blame on the manufacturer of the cigarettes. These fire-accelerating chemicals incredibly remain inside the "fire safe cigarettes". It is a similar situation to the one that we have witnessed with the pharmaceutical industry, in which new chemicals are needed to eliminate the side-effects of the chemicals that they provided originally.

The Politics of Tobacco Genocide

No studies have ever been done on cigarettes containing pure, organic tobacco, because such a test might actually prove it to be safe in moderation. Such a scientific finding would not be a politically correct one. It would be on-par with questioning Darwinism, and it would probably destroy some careers.

Despite all of the campaigns that have been led by politicians who talk about how they are "getting tough" on Big Tobacco, no labeling is yet required for the additives that are in cigarettes. Smokers are unaware that hundreds of chemical compounds are added to most cigarettes. Even fewer have been told that they are legally required to inhale carpet glue whenever they smoke.

A study by the Harvard School of Health revealed that tar, carbon monoxide, and naphthalene levels were higher in the new fire safe cigarettes. In fact, according to their study, every chemical, except nicotine, was higher in fire-safe cigarettes. The decreased nicotine will cause smokers to smoke more of these cigarettes, and we are betting this is not coincidental. Despite the alarming results, the study was actually biased toward promoting fire-safe cigarettes. We can empathize with their good intentions, but this cure is obviously worse than the disease. If the agenda is truly innocent, then why have these 'improved' cigarettes never been reported to the public? Why has there been a media black-out?

Naphthalene is an insecticide and a byproduct of the coal tar industry. It is also a core part of the new "safe cigarettes". Exposure to high amounts of naphthalene can result in irreversible damage to the eyes and liver, according to the E.P.A. It is also a carcinogen, particularly through inhalation exposure. Symptoms of acute exposure include headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, malaise, confusion, anemia, jaundice, convulsions, and coma. It can also cause neurological effects in infants. It is easy to conclude that normal cigarettes are safer than their "fire safe" counterparts. These are the effects of just a single chemical. An investigation into the effects of every chemical found in modern cigarettes would require a book of its own.

If all of this were not damning enough, these "fire safe cigarettes" are not truly fire safe. In one final move to alleviate themselves from any sort of liability, the cigarette companies admit on their websites that "no cigarette is fire safe". The legislation was supposedly enacted for the purpose of stopping fires, but the very initials that are found on these cigarette packets (FSC) promote a false sense of security that is prone to actually causing more fires. Even with the misnomer of increased safety, victims may not necessarily be able to sue manufacturers if the cigarettes cause a fire. Even with the existence of their chemical burn accelerators, the corporate lawyers will predictably contend that the addition of carpet glue was a good faith effort to ensure safety, and therefore fires will still be blamed on smokers.

Legislation mandating the sale of only fire-safe cigarettes first went into effect on January 1st, 2010, for certain states. We have heard dozens of reports about the health issues that are being caused by these cigarettes, which seem to mimic the symptoms of naphthalene exposure. All fire safe cigarettes must be labeled on the box. Usually found around the bar code, the letters FSC mean Fire Safety Compliant.

Some smokers choose American Spirit brand organic cigarettes, but these are also "fire safe". This company uses organic tobacco, but the carpet glue coated paper is far from organic. The only way for most Americans to avoid fire safe cigarettes is for them to roll their own cigarettes, or to purchase them online from foreign countries. As with all things, organic is of higher quality and safer.

Radioactive Cigarettes

In order to grow what the tobacco industry calls "more flavorful" tobacco, farmers use high-phosphate fertilizers. The phosphate is taken from a rock mineral called apatite, which is ground into a powder and dissolved by sulfuric acid. Hydrogen fluoride is produced as a byproduct of this process, which is then integrated into U.S. drinking water and toothpastes. Apatite rock contains radium and other radioactive elements, such as lead 210, and polonium 210. Due to these fertilizers, radioactive compounds enter the tobacco through the roots, and from direct contact with the leaves. When a smoker inhales apatite-ridden smoke, radioactive particles enter his lungs, which cause radiation poisoning over time.

"Uranium has a very long half-life and will accumulate in the soil with repeated applications of fertilizer. As a result, modern cigarettes may contain higher levels of Po-210 than those measured 40 years ago."

-- The Big Idea: Polonium, Radon and Cigarettes, The Royal Society of Medicine

The University of Massachusetts wrote to the New England Journal of Medicine in 1982, warning that a person smoking one and a half packs of cigarettes per day would be exposed to a radiation dose in certain areas of the lung at 8,000 mrem per year, which is the equivalent of 300 chest X-rays per year. It has been theorized that the amount of radiation is much greater now than it was when these tests were completed. The only way to avoid this radiation is to use organically grown tobacco. "All natural" and additive-free tobacco may still be radioactive.

Most anti-tobacco groups are opposed to any sort of harm reduction, such as additive-free or organically-grown tobacco, because they are funded by pharmaceutical and chemical companies. These companies profit from drugs and patches which allegedly help smokers to break their addictions. Those who are unable to quit smoking, or simply do not wish to, are forced to smoke needlessly toxic versions, due to a lack of available information.

You guys have balls of steel. I did not expect you to actually publish an article which condoned smoking, even indirectly. It was a very honest article though, so well done for having the courage to print it.

  • Judith Wilhelm  - FSC and the genocide agnst smokers

    Dear Mark,
The article did not "condone" cigarette smoking, but merely gave an accurate unbiased report of the facts. My grandfather smoked a pipe and lived to be 100 years old. That tells me it may even be good for us! Still I would not recommend it to anyone. Anymore than I would recommend someone drink coffee or eat ice cream! Our battle is to stop the coporations and governments from ruining everything on this planet. God gave us free will and choice, but we have allowed "demons" to take over the world in the form of chemical corporations and political cronies!

I totally agree with your article. I have smoked since I was 11 years old and am now 50. For the past year - and 3 mnths before I knew what had happened - I started having fits of coughing and -for the first time in my life- I have pain moving through my body. It started at my neck. My arms are suffering from nerve type pain issues. I am a dance and Yoga instructor. I love vegetarian food, fitness, meditation, doing good - and yes I am an evil smoker! I am rolling my own! Please contact me if you need my voice.

  • Britt

Can anyone suggest where to buy the tobacco/accessories to roll cigarettes? I have to add that the "fire safe" cigarettes are harder to put out than before and... once, after making what I thought was a thorough snuffing out and double-checking, the cigarette caught fire in ash can outside. Fortunately I saw the smoke billowing and dowsed it. I feel safer now! Not.

Do a Google search for tobacco stores nearby. There's usually at least one. If there aren't any near you, then you will have to purchase online.

Unfortunately, Paypal (and Ebay) refuse to sell tobacco products because they don't want to deal with the ridiculous legislation issues and state-by-state taxation. So, finding a site that you can trust online can be difficult. Unfortunately, we can't really recommend any particular site for that.

  • rockyone

Britt, OMG that happened to me too. I have smoked over 30 years. That paper is dangerous!!! We feel safer now, don't we

  • Pamela

I rolled my own for awhile until I found out about a new Organic cigarette called; "Natural American Spirit, made with organic tobacco".

This is not an advertisement. They are the cigarettes that I smoke and wanted to share the info with my fellow smokers. I tried rolling my own for awhile but it began to take up to much of my time. I was glad I found these and I will never switch. Just google and search for them in your location. They are a little more expensive then the poison cigarettes but well worth it. I find myself smoking less with less nicotine fits because there is no chemical added addictive garbage in them. Best of luck to all.
P.S. They taste kinda like a light Marlboro. There are two different organic types. The Gold box is what I smoke which is like a light Malboro. And then there is a more full bodied flavor that my guy likes which is in a dark red box. Again, best of luck.

Be aware that even the American Spirit cigarettes are made with "Fire Safe" paper. You can, however, get the organic tobacco from that company to roll with.

  • EvadingGrid

I buy American Spirit and roll me own.

Pay a lot less tax, and I do not get the Radioactive Polonium that comes from phosphate based chemical fertilizers.

  • smoker  - fire safe is only about revenue

I have been smoking for many years. Until a few months ago i was able to get non fire safe cigarettes .

Since having to buy fire safe cigarettes I have noticed pains in my legs , very poor circulation
    higher blood pressure .

The fsc cigarette burns up 3 times as fast a cigarette used to take about 5 mins to smoke and now a Marlboro fsc is smoked and gone in under a minute. I did not notice this at first but it seems the fsc smokes are 5 times more addictive. I noticed that i was smoking 3 times the normal amount .

I believe the government made the companies spend lots of money making them fire safe . so the companies may have complied the lowered the nicotine level and added more garbage to them causing us to smoke much more. my health has never been so weird .

I am not saying smoking was ever good for anyone because really there is nothing good about it but i know my smokes and I know they are way different now . they may not be able to light a bed on fire but the garbage your inhaling is much worse than ever . And is happening much more than ever before to try to maintain the level of nicotine your body was used to getting. When i noticed i was smoking 8 or 9 in the first to hours of waking up I knew it has become a problem . I have worked really hard to get down to 3 to 4 a day . I plan on totally quitting soon today I am moving to 2 or 3 and will fight the urges until i am at 1 every other day and then down to zero.

The plan had nothing to do with fire safety . lets make the cigarettes worse . In the process they will smoke more and we can collect more taxes .

It has not been easy for me to slow down the smoking but i did . And eventually will smoke none. I wish I never started but i did.

There will be a time on television when you hear ' IF YOU OR A LOVED one HAVE Smoked FSC CIGARETTES Call James A law NOW ! you might be entitled to money damages

Cigarettes dont burn homes down , Lazy Slobs with cigarettes do .

Guns don't kill people, criminals with guns do

"The biggest killer in America is our government and their taxes" Dk .

Until you quit, you should roll your own cigarettes, to avoid the carpet glue. You can get additive-free tobacco that way, too. 5-HTP is known to help alleviate addictions. A minuscule amount of Salvia Divinorum can also help to stop the cravings. If you use too much, you'll be on a trip to another dimension, but a glass of ice water over the head will bring you right back.
Hypnosis can also be very powerful, particularly for the psychological aspect of addiction. You will benefit from reading over our depression article, because you will have mood issues, particularly with irritability and depression.

You should also limit your carbohydrate intake, else you will put on weight rapidly when you quit smoking. We always encourage exercise, but you should have a very mild exercise program, because exercise makes nicotine withdrawal worse.

We intend on writing a detailed article about this topic, but for now, these tips should be helpful.

  • Bambi Viacello  - This is THE TRUTH i ve done my homework for 3 yr

SMOKER'S, ARE FSC CIGARETTES MAKING YOU SICK? Jeffrey Wigand's agenda, post "The Insider", is working closely with the FDA who have full control over tobacco. When I asked him personally (recently)about all the FSC cigarette illnesses, he denied knowing anything about it. That's funny, two years earlier in an e-mail I sent him that HE responded to, he thanked me for bringing the FSC cigarette illnesses to his attention and that he would personally notify Dr. L a w r e n c e D e y t o n (HEAD LIAR @ FDA TOBACCO DIVISION). Wigand is a LIAR and is in bed with the FDA who are deliberately lacing cigarettes with new FSC chemicals to induce unorthodox illnesses to coerce smokers into quitting. Smokers in other countries are NOT experiencing this. WIGAND, the FDA and "Angel of Death" LAWRENCE DEYTON are EVIL NAZI bastards and should be convicted of crimes against American citizens. Kathleen Sebelius is also in on this. The needle is too good for these filthy scumbags.

Note: This comment was slightly edited by the staff due to technical problems.

  • Bambi Viacello

The FDA is the organization that needs to be POUNDED with complaints. Calling OUT DR. Lawrence DEYTON is the key. It will take thousands of calls and emails these people do nothing unless it is huge they totally know about FSC but act as if they have only kind of heard of it they are lying the fda phone number is 877 287 1373 also politicians at the state and federal level must be held accountable for this evil shit

  • K'Ella Walker  - Interested in Feedback

I would appreciate any feedback, if there is any, regarding physical/neurological symptoms after smoking FSC cigarettes.

I began smoking 2 years ago, just as the cigarette industry was making their shift to FSC cigarettes. I noted, for several months, that when I would smoke (usually the first cigarettes of the day) that my entire scalp would be overcome with a "flush" of tingles and that oftentimes, the muscles of the left side of my face would feel tightened and drawn upwards. Other times, my hands and arms would shake so hard that I could not control them well enough to dial a telephone. These effects lasted just minutes and eventually, dissipated entirely. However, I was also plagued by a rash on my arms and palms of my hands - oftentimes quite itchy - that I attributed to an allergic reaction to menthol.

I DO have a Latex allergy - which I eventually was told was part of the chemical make-up of FSC cigarettes.

Eventually, all of the symptoms mentioned dissipated. I smoked for 2 years and then quit. I developed a nasty "smoker's cough" almost from the outset and definitely noted an overall loss of energy.

The month I quit smoking, I was suddenly overcome with extreme fatigue, followed by simultaneous left leg and left arm weakness. It lasted about a week, then recurred one time each of the following two months. I had a BRAIN MRI to rule out MS and it shows a single, 15mm lesion on my brain - but is not yet indicative of "true" MS. The weeks following my MRI, I've been suffering from a cascade of food allergies. One of the foods I tested positive for is in the same family as tobacco...but now that we think about this, we are curious if this whole mess isn't totally related to FSC/tobacco allergy.

    Any thoughts??

  • Harry Stein  - MEDIA IS THE KEY

The bottom line is full and total exposure. Not one TV program has been aired on this subjuect. I've tried but no luck. I encourage ALL smokers to try and call or email guys like Bill O'Reilly, John Stossel, Greg Gutfeld. Yes, these guys are all conservatives on Fox. I believe that these people believe that YOU the smoker have the right to make your own decisions. Liberals on the other hand are the ones pointing their pious fingers at us. Someone that has a huge audience will at least put it out there. The internet is falling on deaf ears and the petition site mentioned above was closed. Probably by the government. Buying cigarettes from overseas is nearly impossible because of all the new laws that the FDA and Obama appointed CZAR Dr. Lawrence Deyton have over the internet. We are truly living in dangerous times. Our Civil Liberties are being stripped from us by a government that wants to take care of us little helpless children. I'm waiting for them to start outlawing certain sports because of the dangers of injury. Unfrigginbelievable.

  • A. Riviere

I'm afraid the numbers and support needed to fight this war on tobacco and smokers no longer exist. The incremental legislation and mind conditioning started decades ago, of which the order in government has down to a tee. Big government AND Big Money are in on this one.

  • John Rochet  - Cleansing the FDA

Sounds like a long range sharp shooter is needed to send a message. Any takers?

  • A. Riviere

that is the reality.. GENOCIDE. ..or chronic health issues administered to readily by BIG PHARMA and Health Care System to the grave. The post 9-11-01 government order implementing increasing tyranny under the guise of fighting terrorists seems to be insurmountable by design.

  • Rose Marie

Why do you state that smokers are hellishly evil people? I would like to forward this article to friends but hesitate because of this harsh judgement against them. Or am I somehow misinterpretting your message? Thanks.

  • Sarah C. Corriher (H.W. Researcher)
    avatar

That was sarcasm based upon the way that smokers are now presented by the mainstream media. We would not have provided this information if we felt that smokers were evil. The article explains that there is an almost religious anti-tobacco dogma nowadays, and that it is unwarranted.

  • Ashley

K'Ella, that sounds like some form of heavy metal toxicity...my guess would be mercury based on the brain scans. Two books on the subject that I think are the best information on heavy metal poisoning and treatment are:

    1) Amalgam Illness: Diagnosis and Treatment
    2) Hair Test Interpretation: Finding Hidden Toxicities

both by Dr. Andrew Hall Cutler PhD (Chemistry, Princeton, 1985)

Right now, I'm using low-dose oral DMPS to cure myself from chronic mercury toxicity brought on by dental amalgam and vaccines. Most of my symptoms are gone, and the ones that aren't are significantly better. I recommend both these books to anyone, really, considering how poisoned we are in the Industrial world.

Oh yeah, and you can get DMPS for cheap as a research chemical online. It's really expensive as a prescription and I don't think DMSA or ALA are nearly as effective.

  • Tony Hedberg  - FSC Is Killing Me.

Don't worry folks! I'm sure that the great and wonderful pharmaceutical companies will soon come up with a "new", exciting drug that will counter the negative effects of smoking FSC cigarettes. Of course, you'll have to take out a second mortgage on your life just to be able to afford it.

  • Melissa  - Smoker of 23 yrs

I started smoking cigarettes at the age of 16 & yes I was cool (so I thought lol) Anyway, throughout my years I had the typical smoker symptom, shortness of breath but it was tolerable. When this FSC crap came out didn't know what it was but dealt with it since it is what it is. I noticed a huge change in my breathing these past 3 yrs, I've come down with bronchitis twice -once in 12/2011 & just a few days ago 3/2013. Outside of taking penicillin my doctor prescribed me Advair which has helped tremendously.

For once in my life I am actually concerned regarding FSC cigarettes. I've had a client of mine who was a smoker pass away a week and a half ago from influenza & pneumonia (started off as bronchitis) at the age of 39 & a co-worker pass away at the age of 54. There's something not right here & yes smoking is not good but to make it worse is appalling.

I smoke Parliments and Phillip Morris will be getting a call expressing my concerns 1 (800) 343-0975 *Consumers who have questions or concerns about the quality of our products should call Philip Morris USA's Consumer Response Center at 1-800-343-0975.* - found this doing a google search for fsc effects on a Cleveland news website along with this website *

There is no reason to blame the cigarette companies, because it is the government that is mandating the carpet glue. The manufacturers did not want to add it. Also, for a 39-year-old to die in modern America of pneumonia, he must have had a lot of "help" from the doctors.

** There is no blame what so ever. Phillip Morris is such a huge corporation I believe they may support people who believe that this is wrong. It would be great if they would put funds towards testing of this FSC crap. In regards to your "help" comment, doctors go by the book and I'm sure carpentry glue was not in there. We (us smokers) need to voice out concerns. This is becoming a closet epidemic.

  • Jules Ferris  - detox from FSC chemicals
    avatar

I have been smoking American Spirit Organic. I had heard about the bad chemicals now added to the paper, I tried to learn to roll my own, I bought organic tobacco, cotton filters and papers. It takes a lot of research. And a rolling machine, but I can't get the knack of using it either. I gave up on trying to roll my own. I have been getting sicker and newly this summer I developed eczema. Is there any way to detox these horrible chemicals from FSC cigarettes out of the body?
