Hepatitis is truly a vicious devil. It is a virus that spreads and reproduces primarily in the liver like a parasite.  When attacked, hepatitis may go dormant and hide itself in other parts of the body like herpes, chicken pox, and H.I.V. do. It may strike again later, when a victim's immune system is weak enough for it to overrun the body unopposed. Even a liver transplant will not cure it, for the virus hides in other parts of the body. It enters a transplanted liver whenever a body becomes sufficiently weak. Thus, organ transplants only restart the cycle with a healthier liver. Of all the hepatitis variants, the "C" version is the worst, and it is officially considered to be incurable. It is the type that this report and our treatment protocol focuses upon. Other versions, such as hepatitis A and B will be eliminated by an immune system in time without intervention, so long as the patient takes reasonably good care of himself.

Overlooked Symptoms: Emotional Issues and Explosive Hepatitis Rages

One of the symptoms generally ignored by Western medicine is the mental effect of hepatitis. This was one of the first things we discovered when researching the ancient Chinese medical literature. Having hepatitis over an extended period may cause a patient to develop psychotic rages, mild confusion, and indecisiveness. There is no way of knowing how many people have become violent because of their hepatitis infections, but the rages are arguably the most destructive symptom, since they can eliminate friends and family. The rages isolate sufferers from the people who care about them, and can easily lead to job losses or criminal arrests. We do not have enough information to report the pervasiveness of the problem, but our research indicates that a long-term (chronic) hepatitis patient should always keep check on maintaining a positive mental state through positive outlets. Prayer and meditation could be real life savers. Liver inflammation may also trigger clinical depression in severe cases.

We routinely skip what we consider to be "fluff topics" in our reporting, such as the topics of meditation and aromatherapy. In the case of a hepatitis patient, however, meditation and relaxation exercises are actually serious medicine. Everyone already knows that stored anger and resentment can cause heart problems, but few people know that the same is true for the liver. The liver is very much effected by, and is even a cause of our emotional states. These facets of the liver's importance upon our emotional health are more things that were first discovered by ancient Chinese medicine, which were later backed with modern evidence. The hepatitis rages are institutionally glossed-over as just "irritability" by conventional medicine, and the industry's damage control statements concerning this topic testify to the truth that something is being intentionally ignored. What patients experience is more than just random cases of irritability, and a hepatitis patient must learn to fight his personal war on two fronts: the mental and the physical.

The Prognosis and Foundation of a Treatment Protocol

There are no credible success reports in curing hepatitis C with either allopathic medicine or alternative medicine. Hepatitis C has been able to more-or-less evade every documented attack strategy. Yet we believe there is hope. In fact, we believe that we may have even found a silver bullet for destroying the infamous "C'" type of hepatitis.

In our research, we sometimes turn to Traditional Chinese Medicine (ancient Chinese medicine) for the really baffling cases. Westerners are still trying to understand health problems that Chinese doctors were curing thousands of years ago. The toughest part of utilizing such old medicine is translating its strange explanations of how and why things happen from its arcane concepts, such as those dealing with yin and yang, into our modern understanding of the human body. It can be challenging to decipher, but the effort is usually repayed with greater insights. Unfortunately, even ancient Chinese medicine did not discover a reliable cure for chronic hepatitis, but that does not mean that the lessons they learned are without use. According to ancient Chinese medicine, the liver is part of an organ triad that holistically inter-communicates somehow. This triad consists of the liver, spleen, and the lungs. Take for example that people with chronic hepatitis are actually much more prone to bronchitis and various other lung infections, and the spleen is problematic in hepatitis patients too. Therefore, the recommendations given herein take into account this organ triad in both strengthening them and protecting them all.

Hepatitis is a viral attack upon the liver that can lead to extreme inflammation and quite a few other serious complications. The term "hepato" means liver, and "itis" means inflammation. Some estimates show that 80% of those infected with hepatitis never show any symptoms. This fact is more significant than may be readily apparent. Since only 20% of those infected have problematic symptoms, then we can deduce that the infection only attacks opportunistically, whenever an immune system is sufficiently weakened. This property once again shows its similarity to herpes, shingles, and H.I.V. This knowledge ought to establish the first rule for treatment. Namely that the patient's overall immune system must be greatly strengthened, so that the virus can be essentially driven into hibernation. This is not yet curing it, but it is an excellent beginning to true recovery.

General Immune Support and Anti-Viral Support for the Liver

It is not necessary to use all of these, but using at least the first group is highly recommended, and it should produce a tremendous health improvement. These supplements are not likely to enact a cure, but they will provide a body with the initial support that it needs to take the attack to the next level. These items are listed in order of importance.

  • Healthy diet emphasizing lots of fruits, vegetables, berries, and nuts.
  • Sunlight
  • Neem
  • Milk thistle (400 mg. twice dail)y
  • Mega-dose of vitamin C (3000 mg. a day)
  • Selenium (small amount)
  • Flax seed oil mixed with yogurt (Budwig style)
  • Get some light exercise every day
  • Arginine (especially for males over the age of 30)
  • Licorice root
  • Dandelion
  • Red sage (otherwise known as "Danshen")
  • Sea salt (use moderately on everything)
  • Iodine (topically only)
  • Zinc supplements
  • American ginseng (Panax quinquefolius)
  • Sophora root (Cautiously use, and avoid if there is high blood pressure)

Optional Supplements

Reduce these dosages if they cause problems)
  • Glutathione 300 mg. (morning and evening)
  • Quercetin 500 mg. (morning and evening)
  • CoQ10 250-500 mg. (morning and evening)
  • Green tea (couple of cups per day)
  • Turmeric or curcumin
  • DHEA
  • N-acetyl cysteine (NAC) 500 mg. (2x per day)

Optional for hepatitis mental issues with anxiety, insomnia, and etc.

  • Skullcap
  • Chamomile (may cause drowsiness and avoid if there are ragweed allergies)
  • St. John's Wort (unless there is a chance of pregnancy)

Castor Oil Transdermal Packs

Castor oil that is absorbed through the skin over the liver and spleen is of benefit during times of severe inflammation. A person will need to first determine where these organs are to accomplish this. A rag should be soaked in pure, cold-pressed castor oil beforehand. The excess oil should be squeezed out just prior to use. Next the rag should be placed onto bare skin over the organs. Put a piece of plastic on top of the rag. Then place a hot water bottle on top of that. The hot water bottle should be made as hot as is bearable. If the person is numbed by drugs or otherwise, then use some common sense in helping him to get a safe level of heat. This transdermal application should remain in place for a minimum of 30 minutes, and doing this ritual daily would benefit most patients. It is also recommend that the area underneath the patient be covered in plastic too, because some of the castor oil will run down onto furniture or floors.

Things to Avoid

Many substances aggravate the disease while simultaneously weakening the immune system for a double whammy. Victims of hepatitis should avoid them. This list is quite restrictive, but the restrictions do not need to be permanent. They would be very beneficial in fighting against a flare-up of the disease, or when attempting to cure it. Items to avoid include the over-the-counter "remedies", because none of them actually remedy anything. Discontinue all of them. If at all possible, discontinue all pharmaceuticals too. All pharmaceuticals, as foreign substances, stress the kidneys, spleen, and liver.

Inflammatory Substances
  • Canola
  • Caffeine
  • Coffee
  • Black tea
  • Soft drinks
  • Chocolate
  • Refined (bleached) sugars
  • Artificial sweeteners
  • Fluoride
  • Harsh soaps and detergents
  • "Table" Salt
  • Air fresheners
  • Homogenized milk

A More Aggressive Strategy

Successful treatment means mixing an effective antiviral with another agent that causes extreme penetration into the cells where hepatitis hides, to really devastate it. The most powerful general purpose anti-pathogen that alternative medicine has is colloidal silver, but silver has always had unimpressive results against hepatitis, which is likely due to the pathogen's ability to hide and hibernate whenever it is threatened. Colloidal silver typically helps temporarily because all of the symptoms subside as the infection hibernates, and then the hepatitis later returns when the coast is clear. The same happens with every other partially successful treatment. Colloidal silver literally could provide us with the silver bullet that we need, but it alone is ineffective because it lacks enough penetrating power to saturate where the hepatitis hides. The answer to obtaining that penetration is chlorophyll. It is the green compound that is made by plants which is used by the human body to pull the minerals from vegetables directly into the cells. One of those trace minerals inside organic vegetables is silver.

During an attempt to kill or neutralize hepatitis, a person should follow all of the advice given previously in this report. We generally recommend that attempts to terminate hepatitis should only be made when the patient has regained some strength. The final part of the protocol should be the utilization of colloidal silver that is mixed with chlorophyll. This solution should be held inside of the mouth for several minutes before swallowing, in order to get maximum direct blood absorption. The minimum dosage should be 5 tablespoons (2.5 fluid ounces) of high quality colloidal silver mixed with 15-20 drops of liquid chlorophyll concentrate. This should be given several times a day for several weeks, but continuing for several months would be wise.

We cannot make promises about how effective our overall protocol will be or how long it must be continued, because the hepatitis patients that we have had contact with were unwilling to share much information about their condition or their long-term progress. Unfortunately, hepatitis sufferers and diabetics are the most uncooperative patients, and because of this, like everyone else, we have had great difficulty in amassing empirical data. However, we strongly believe that this protocol will work if followed religiously. We cannot give exact dosage amounts for everything, for this is a new protocol and every hepatitis infection is different.

Fraudulent Hepatitis Treatment: Carnivora

Of course, there are always fraudsters who seek to profit from other people's suffering. Whenever someone promises quick and easy solutions to various diseases, we would be wise to beware. The biggest hepatitis scam involves a new "patented product" called "Carnivora". Supposedly, this 'herb' is the patented and chemically-extracted digestive enzymes of the venus flytrap plant. The logic is that since the digestive juices can eat insects without harming the plants themselves, then this same substance obviously cures hepatitis. We missed the connection too. There is actually no evidence that this "patented herb" (and herbs can never be patented) does anything, but it is being marketed as the cure.

Pharmaceuticals are Never a Viable Option

The pharmaceutical treatments for hepatitis provide clear examples of why most of our pharmaceuticals should be considered unacceptable and counterproductive by any civilized society. Hepatitis C patients are usually prescribed either Rebetron or Ribavirin. It would be difficult to find two more outstanding examples of treatments that are worse than the condition.

The more popular choice is Rebetron. The primary effect of Rebetron is hemolytic anemia. This is a condition wherein there is a deficiency of red blood cells, and a premature death of existing red blood cells is also triggered. Other features of this drug ironically include hepatic dysfunction (crippled liver), insomnia, depression, irritability, suicidal behavior, thyroid abnormalities, severe birth defects, suppressed bone marrow function, pulmonary function impairment, diabetes, and pancreatitis. In other words, the patient is more likely to die from this 'medicine' than the disease.

Greater than 96% of all subjects in clinical trials of the competing drug, Ribavirin, experienced one or more adverse reactions. These included birth defects, fatigue, headaches, nausea, chills, dizziness, insomnia, anemia, pyrexiam (elevated body temperature), myalgia (muscle pain), hemolytic anemia, neutropenia (failure of the bone marrow to produce white blood cells), dyspnea (shortness of breath), arthralgia (joint pain), weight loss, vomiting, unspecified pains, anxiety, leukopenia (decrease in white blood cells), aggression, serious retinal detachment (blindness), and diabetes.

Final Thoughts

For anyone who thinks that our protocol recommendations are too difficult or expensive, then we recommend price-checking the going rates for liver transplants. These methods are certainly cheaper than the inferior treatments that one receives with orthodox medicine, and they are incomparably safer. We really want readers to report their results, and we would be thrilled if this protocol eventually became part of an official study. First, we need cooperation and disclosure. We need people's names and contact information to catalog results.

Special thanks goes to Robbi Borjeson, M.D., and The National Institutes of Health for their priceless research.
