We generally have better results finding the old information in electronic form. Finding the original printed text is like finding treasure. It's out there, but it is ever so hard to find. Even well-meaning people tended to destroy the old books, because the books were assumed to be obsolete. The Rockefeller takeover of medicine would have never happened if the Internet had existed 100 years ago, and the cover-ups would have been impossible. The F.D.A. and most of the other organizations involved in the legal drug cartel would have been killed long ago. We document what we can, when we can, but it's quite an uphill battle.
