Your Metal Drinking Bottle Is Probably A Toxic Plastic Bottle In Disguise

This "safe" Sigg brand drinking bottle (sold at Whole Food's Market) is not as safe as we were led to believe.

In a small victory for consumers, BPA-free water bottles have found their way into regular grocery stores. Researchers and the public already know the dangers of BPA, despite the refusal of the F.D.A. to acknowledge them. However, the new water bottles may not be as safe as people assume. While they may not leach the hormone-destroying bisphenol-A (BPA), a strong plastic taste can still be noticed in water stored in the new generation of bottles.

The chemicals that leach out of plastics are always harmful to health. Oftentimes these chemicals go unnoticed because flavored drinks can mask the chemical taste. As a rule of thumb, plastics should be categorically avoided for food and beverage containers. All plastics leach, but they leach different chemicals at varying levels. Therefore, some plastics may be safer than others, but none are completely safe. The plastics used to make milk jugs are fairly safe. Clear plastics, like those used for soft drinks, are the worst.

Those who realize the dangers of plastic bottles will usually use metal containers. Unfortunately, manufacturers are using extremely dirty marketing tactics to continue poisoning us. A major design problem was found with the cheap aluminum containers, and a more insidious remedy was employed. The problem was that common aluminum drinking bottles normally react with acidic drinks (all popular soft drinks), to cause the drinks to become toxic with heavy metal compounds, whilst the containers themselves decay from the acids. Instead of switching to a non-toxic, more resilient metal like stainless steel; the manufacturers secretly began lining aluminum drink cans with clear plastic, like the clear coats that are used on automobiles.

How Industry Makes Egg Whites and Egg Yolks Dangerous

Those who routinely read ingredient labels will find products containing "egg yolks" or "egg whites", yet the products have long shelf lives.  In products like mayonnaise, and even some peanut butter brands, the eggs cannot be cooked, because heating would destroy the creamy consistency.  Due to the fact that raw eggs cannot normally be held in a non-refrigerated state for months at a time, manufacturers have found other ways to comply with food safety regulations.  This can be done through two different types of pasteurization, and the method is never labeled.  There is good reason to hide it from us.

Cold PasteurizationWith Flavorlicious Radiation

Radiation is the easy, reliable way for the food manufacturer to kill bacteria.  However, it is far from safe.  The process of "irradiation" eliminates the majority of nutrition in products, makes foods radioactive, and leaves carcinogenic compounds like benzene in foods, in addition to unnatural radiolytic compounds that have never before been seen in history.  These are likewise carcinogenic.  Radiation is the most reliable of all cancer-causing agents, likely because it produces these compounds in tissues.  (Take note microwave users.)  While consumer advocacy groups have been campaigning for labeling on such products, only fresh produce must be labeled when it is irradiated.  U.S.D.A. certified organic foods are never irradiated.

Quick Tip: Fruit Juices From Concentrate

An "All Natural" fruit juice plant making "fresh" orange juice with tap water.

Whenever a juice is made "from concentrate", there is reason to beware of it. Such juices are first concentrated by high heat over a relatively long period, which is prone to destroying all nutritional value; but this is hardly the worst aspect. The worst part is that the juices are then recombined with tap water. This tap water composes about 90% (or more) of the fluid of reconstituted juices. Therefore, you may be drinking more impurities by drinking juices that are made from concentrate than if you drank your local tap water, due to it having been shipped to multiple locations and the excessive processing. The quality of the resultant juice is a product of the tap water quality at the bottling plant, which could be worse than your local tap water. The final product may still taste like delicious juice, but it is often little more than flavored tap water by the time it reaches your local retailer, and it is likely to be less pure.

The most popular brands of orange juice in the U.S. are owned by PepsiCo Inc., and The Coca-Cola Company.

Why Hand Lotion Is Usually The Worst Thing To Use For Dry Hands and How Hand Lotions Destroy Overall Health

Many people use commercial hand lotions to make their skin softer and moister. This is especially true throughout the winter months, when less moisture is present in the air. Commercial lotions seem to provide some short-term relief for skin dryness, but they actually make the problems worse in the long term. This phenomenon is similar to what we have seen with pharmaceuticals and dieting aids, which ultimately exaggerate the root problems.

People rarely use hand lotions in moderation. Lotion becomes an essential accessory, which is applied generously several times daily, for years at a time. This necessity seems to be by design from the industry. The great majority of hand lotions contain chemicals which accumulate in the liver and fatty tissues, causing long-term problems. The chemicals accumulate in ever greater amounts in the body over time in a snowballing reaction. Many of the common chemicals used in hand lotions are known to cause skin dryness and skin irritation with extended use, which coincidentally happens to be great for business. When people start experiencing long-term dryness after using hand lotions, they eventually become dependent on these lotions for their quick-fix. None of this is accidental.

The Amish Don't Get Autism but They Do Get Bio-Terrorism

The uninitiated are often confused by the lack of autism in the Amish people. The Amish do not experience autism, or most of the other learning disabilities that plague our technological society. They live in a society that consists of outdated technologies and ideals, at least by contemporary standards. Their diet consists of eating organic, fresh, locally-grown produce, and of course, they do not follow the established vaccination routines. To the dismay of the medical establishment, this has resulted in a healthier people, who are devoid of all of our chronic diseases. Heart disease, cancer, and diabetes are virtually non-existent in Amish villages. Equally non-existent are our modern, chemically-engineered medicines, enhanced (chemically engineered) foods, G.M.O. (genetically engineered) foods, and of course, vaccines. How is it that those who are without the so-called "miracles" of orthodox medicine are healthier? The truth about health, medicine, and how they both relate to the Amish has become an embarrassment to some rather powerful people.

There have been 3 (yes three) verified cases of autism in the Amish, and two of those children were vaccinated. No information is available for the third child, who was likely vaccinated himself. The strong correlation between vaccinations and autism is becoming undeniable, unless you work for the medical establishment, the government, or mainstream media.

Doctor Andrew Weil: Whose Side Is He Really On?

Andrew Weil (pronounced "while"), M.D., is a professor at the University of Arizona specializing in integrative medicine, which combines allopathic medicine with nutritional therapies. Dr. Weil is also a supplement spokesperson, and a prolific author. The doctor is an icon for organic products and herbal supplements, a media darling, and a self-appointed leader of the alternative health movement. As if all that were not enough, Weil also has his own private medical practice, and is a proud graduate of Harvard University. Nowadays, one cannot stroll the aisles of most health-related retailers without seeing his face. These may be tough times for the rest of us, but business is great for Dr. Weil. At the beginning of his career, Weil lived on a South Dakota Indian reservation, where he studied herbal medicine and ritualistic healing with a Lakota medicine man named Leonard Crow Dog. In his 1972 book, The Natural Mind, Weil demonstrated his shaman influence by criticizing American drug policy, and revealing his fondness for states of altered consciousness induced by psychedelic drugs, hypnosis, and meditation.

Quick Tip: Treating Carpal Tunnel Syndrome

Carpal tunnel syndrome is a condition which occurs with repetitive motions of the wrist, usually arising from excessive computer use. It is caused by pressure on the median nerve, which runs from the forearm into the hand. This nerve controls all sensations on the palm side of the thumb and fingers, along with controlling the movements of them. The carpal tunnel is a passage at the base of the hand, made from bone and ligament, which houses the median nerve and associated tendons. When the tendons become enlarged by inflammation, the tunnel diameter is no longer adequate. This causes the median nerve to become pinched. This results in pain, weakness and numbness in the fingers, wrist, hand, and occasionally the forearm. In particularly bad cases, the sufferer may have trouble making a fist and picking up small objects.

The medical establishment often uses steroids, splints, and even surgery to eliminate the symptoms of carpal tunnel syndrome. However, there are problems with all of these strategies. Steroids cause endless problems, especially when taken perpetually. They cause type 2 diabetes. While a splint is a good solution for a broken bone, using it for muscle and nerve problems results in weakened muscles, which thereby increases the chance of a relapse. Surgery is always a dangerous option, because human error by the surgeon can result in a complete crippling of the hand, which is surprisingly common.

The F.D.A.'s Push For Radioactive ("Irradiated") Foods

Radiation is being used to enhance some of the foods that are being shipped to retail locations throughout the United States as you read this. This report explains the situation, politics, history, and what is being presented by profiteers as the 'science' of food irradiation.  As expected, quite a bit of deception is being used to trick the public into consuming these foods without its consent, for everyone knows that public consent will never happen.

How Some Gyms Are Very Dangerous To Health and How They Might Even Eventually Kill You

A new and more accurate spin on Gym marketingNothing sickens us more than when a company willfully poisons those who are working to improve their health.  It is for this reason that we feel compelled to warn others about our personal experiences with a gym in our local area.  While it is fortunately a small chain, reporting our problems with it may help other members, or prospective members.  In addition, some of its practices are undoubtedly mirrored in other Gyms throughout the country, and all of these gyms should be avoided.

What We Didn't Know Did Hurt Us -- Lots

A couple of months into our membership, we began experiencing trouble breathing whilst working out.  Allow me to explain that being breathless and 'winded' are not things that any of us are accustomed to.  While it is true that there is always room for our improvement; overall, we are in terrific shape.  Our quick exhaustion and breathlessness when visiting the gym seemed to make no sense.  In addition, I experienced trouble with asthma, a disease which had not manifested itself since my switch to a natural diet.  On a particularly bad night, several of us experienced pronounced chest pains, like those from a heart attack, at exactly the same time.  The odds of one of us experiencing angina are minuscule, so for two of us to experience it at exactly the same time is a statistical impossibility.  Something in that gym was obviously afoul.  The whole near heart attack thing really motivated us into researching the problem.

Why Americans Ought To Reevaluate What They Were (Falsely) Taught about Child Birth

Doctors used posters such as this one to demonize midwives, and spread messages of terror about competing alternatives. Some things never change.

In the early part of the twentieth century, a campaign against midwifery began, which was led by the allopathic establishment. At that time, 95% of deliveries happened in the home with midwives present. The young medical industry was campaigning that midwives were unclean, and that midwives were the last option, reserved for those who could not afford real medicine. The industry jealously spied birthing as a potentially profitable option, so it began a massive marketing blitz. Hospitals were presented as the cleaner and safer option, with supposedly better-trained professionals. Every one of these statements was untrue. What made these assertions most disturbing is the fact that doctors in those days received no hands-on training in birthing at all. The attacks against midwives continued for 30 years, despite the statistical proof that midwife-assisted births were categorically safer than those conducted in hospitals. Home birthing is still safer, over a century later.

The slander against midwives was successful. By 1955, only 1% of U.S. births took place in the home. Only 8% of the births in the United States are now attended by midwives, while 70% of the European and Japanese births are attended by midwives. As a result, the United States has the second worst newborn death rate in the developed world. Only Latvia, with six deaths per 1,000 births, has a higher infant mortality rate than the United States. The U.S. also has the highest maternal mortality rates. The safest country to give birth in is Sweden, which has a midwife (or two) at almost every birth, and these same birthing professionals actively involve themselves in prenatal care too. The Swedish do not treat pregnancy as a disease that needs pharmaceuticals, intensive hospital care, and intervention by doctors. Their babies are the better for it.

Psychiatry's 'Shock Doctrine': Are We Really Okay With Electroshocking Toddlers?

electric chairMany Americans think electro-convulsive therapy has been abandoned.  But American psychiatry still regards it as a respected treatment, even for kids.

"Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive."

— C.S. Lewis

Psychiatry's "shock doctrine" is quite literally electroshock, and its latest victims are – I'm not kidding – young children.

On Jan. 25, 2009, the Herald Sun in Melbourne, Australia, reported: "Children younger than 4 who are considered mentally disturbed are being treated with controversial electric shock treatment." In Australia, the use of electroconvulsive therapy (ECT) is increasing, and the Herald Sun's report on "Child Shock Therapy" stated that last year, "statistics record 203 ECT treatments on children younger than 14 -- including 55 aged 4 and younger."

Your Healthy Fish Might Just Be Killing You

One of our strong suspicions about farmed fish was confirmed by researchers at Wake Forest Baptist University Medical Center. They proved that farm-raised fish are unhealthy, and dangerous with long-term consumption. We have to applaud Wake Forest for this. Through a press release, the university summarized its findings of:

"Farm-raised tilapia, one of the most highly consumed fish in America, has very low levels of beneficial omega-3 fatty acids and, perhaps worse, very high levels of omega-6 fatty acids...

The Politically Incorrect Truth About the Cult Of Vegetarianism

Famous vegetarian and Congressman, Dennis J. Kucinich of Ohio. As a typical vegetarian, he is hardly a model of health. He looks like someone who is either an A.I.D.S. victim, or someone undergoing chemotherapy. This ghoulish look is typical amongst vegetarians.

Undoubtedly, many of our readers assume that we adhere to either a vegetarian or a vegan diet. In truth, we are strongly against such extremes. As people interested in truthful health reporting, instead of politics; it is our duty to inform our readers that vegetarianism is absolutely unhealthy and dangerous. This report may cost us some of our readers, but that is a risk that we are willing to take if it might save a few people from disease; and especially if it could save a few children from dying horribly. This is not a popularity contest for us. This is life or death, and the truth versus a cult.

There is nothing more perverse than when those who conform to such politics also dictate the same malnutrition upon their own children. News stories of children who have starved to death as a result of vegan diets continue to appear, and these diets are usually defended by the parents as being something good, all the way to prison. It is unknown how many uncounted child vegan deaths there have been, because child deaths are usually attributed to mysterious disorders; for regular doctors rarely examine nutrition.

Such parenting is based much more on following a cult than it is about health, and we feel certain that there is a deep pocket in Hell waiting for such parents. Starving one's children is the epitome of evil, regardless of whatever strained rationalizations are used to justify it. It is never justified. Such parents ought to be deeply ashamed, but few of them seem to be, even after the deaths of their own children. Their belief system overrides both their rational thinking and their consciences, and this is why we think of them as being cultish, in almost the same vein as the iodine drinkers. A child fed on a diet containing soy (the vegan protein substitute) is destined for illness for the rest of his life, with poor development combined with future thyroid and hormone issues. Furthermore, the lack of fats in a vegan diet makes just growing problematic. Red meat contains iron, which is desperately needed by growing children. Synthetic iron provided in supplements quickly becomes poisonous if allowed to accumulate, especially to infants and children, in addition to it being an extremely ineffective substitute for organic forms of iron. A rusty nail would probably be safer and more effective than most of the iron supplements, but of course, we are not recommending that.

Most Americans Are Eating Genetically Engineered Foods Several Times A Day

Courtesy David Dees

Most Americans ignore the debate surrounding genetically engineered foods, in part because they assume that they do not eat them.  A 2004 study, by Rutger University, showed that 69% of Americans believe that they have never eaten genetically engineered foods.  In reality, the vast majority of Americans eat G.M. foods on a daily basis.

Most civilized countries around the world require explicit labeling of genetically engineered foods, including all of the European Union nations, alongside Japan, China, South Korea, Thailand, and Australia.  Throughout the world, people want to know what they are eating, especially when it comes to genetic modifications.  However, the food industry has taken advantage of lax policies in the U.S., which were put in place by its friends at the F.D.A. and the U.S.D.A. The American public does not know what it is eating, which seems to be the principle driving regulatory policies.  Imagine if clear labeling of G.E. foods was required tomorrow from all American food producers, like it is for most of the world.  We would expect riots at grocers.

Quick Tip: Morning Nausea

Morning nausea can come from many causes. It has a singular and easily remedied cause in the overwhelming majority of cases. Morning nausea is usually caused by simple dehydration. Many factors can contribute to such dehydration, including snoring. Alas, the cure to most cases of morning nausea is a cold glass of water. If there are other stomach problems, such as indigestion or heartburn, then precede the water with apple cider vinegar. Of course, morning nausea can sometimes indicate a health condition, but if the water and the apple cider vinegar are enough to remedy it, then it was merely dehydration.

Juicing: Apple Blend

  • ¼ small pineapple
  • 1 apple
  • ¼ banana
  • 6 ounces natural unsweetened yogurt

You will need to juice or strain the pineapple and apple, as they provide a lot of pulp. After blending the fruits together, add yogurt, and blend once more.

Juicing: The Hormone Regulator

  • 1 Apple
  • 1 Pear
  • 2 Peaches

Blend these together, and run them through a juicer or strainer to remove pulp, if desired.

History: Peaches are recognized throughout Traditional Chinese Medicine (T.C.M.) as especially useful to women with hormone irregularities. This will calm a woman with hormone imbalances and help her to feel at peace. With fluoride in our water, which attacks the thyroid, our hormones are frequently imbalanced. This drink will help.

Juicing: The Kiwi Orange Cocktail

Ingredients

  • 4 oz. Green Grapes
  • 3 Kiwi
  • ½ cup Orange Juice

While very simple, this juice tastes great, leaves you feeling invigorated and is a great supplement to any juice fast.

For a complete list of juices, see the bottom of our diabetes article.

Juicing: The Blood Cleanser

  • 2 bunches of red grapes or 2 cups of dark grape juice.
  • 6 oranges or 2 cups of orange juice.
  • 4 lemons or 1/2 cup of lemon juice.
  • 1/4 cup of honey.

Blend all of the ingredients in a blender. If you decide to use the whole fruits, instead of buying juice, then you may wish to run them through a juicer too, in order to remove the pulp. This is the favorite juice at Health Wyze Media. It is very tart, and especially good on summer days. The taste is like liquid sweet tarts, but there is no need for guilt with this treat.

This drink somehow cleanses the blood, and the lemon will greatly help to alkalize the body. The honey provides its own sugar while simultaneously balancing blood sugar, in addition to crippling candida, and infusing the body with natural anti-histamines. This is the closest thing to the perfect energy drink. It is like raw octane without any jittery side effects. Expect an enormous energy rush within twenty minutes of drinking it, and the energy boost will typically last for more than eight hours.

The Chemical Industry's Solution To Unhygienic Factory Farm Conditions

With multiple meat recalls each year, most people assume that slaughterhouses are under close scrutiny by the U.S.D.A., and are desperately trying to create cleaner conditions.  This is not the case.  It would mean that someone had actually taken responsibility for the conditions of the slaughterhouses, and the manner in which cows are raised, which has been directly breeding the rampant bacteria.  The facts that cows (and other animals in our food chain) are raised inside sheds, whilst perpetually sleeping and standing in their own fecal matter are ignored.  Many of the cows are so diseased that they cannot stand without assistance, but they are still considered healthy enough to enter the food chain.  The manner in which these animals are raised is truly disgusting, and it produces a perfect breeding ground for bacteria.  If any citizen were to keep his family pets in similar conditions, an animal cruelty lawsuit would be commenced immediately.

As usual, Big Pharma has the solution, which usually means there is cause to be very, very afraid.  It is the standard, modern Big Pharma solution to poor hygiene: a vaccine.  You probably thought it was going to be antibiotics.  Well... they are already using those, but the conditions are so incredibly disgusting that their powerful antibiotics can no longer stop the serious disease pathogens.  We could not make this stuff up.
