Doubt They're Evil? About the Umbilical Cord, and the Profitable Procedure for Premature Deliveries

"Another thing very injurious to the child, is the tying and cutting of the navel string too soon; which should always be left till the child has not only repeatedly breathed but till all pulsation in the cord ceases. As otherwise the child is much weaker than it ought to be, a portion of the blood being left in the placenta, which ought to have been in the child."

Date: Wed, 27 Sep 2009 19:20:43 -0400 (EDT)

This is installment #2 of The Mail Bag, in which we address noteworthy reader questions, and our answers to them.  This time we discuss Vitamin B-17 and its cyanide link, safe drinking water, the Budwig anti-cancer regimen, the official meaning of the word organic, how organic is sometimes not completely organic due to destroyed soils, when flax seed oil (omega-3) can be dangerous, and analyze a herbal hair restoration product.

Quick Tip: Vitamin C Weakens Tooth Enamel and Other Facts the Dental Experts Do Not Know

Citrus toothpaste by Green People will damage tooth enamel.

We encourage daily supplementation of vitamin C for everyone. It protects against everything from sudden infant death syndrome (S.I.D.S) to scurvy, heart disease, and in some cases, cancer. Two-time Nobel Prize winner, Linus Pauling, recommended a whopping 3 grams of vitamin C every day for the average healthy male, and 6 grams for those at risk of heart disease. There are many methods of vitamin C supplementation, in the form of capsules, powders and syrups. For decades, parents have been providing their children with chewable vitamin C pills.

Vitamin C is destructive to tooth enamel, so chewable pills may lead to increased cavities, particularly in those who are lacking minerals, such as calcium and phosphorus. Vitamin C should never be taken in a manner which leaves residues of it on the teeth for an extended time. Some well-intentioned toothpaste manufacturers have misguidedly added vitamin C or "citrus" to their formulas, without realizing the dental problems that this presents. Similarly, some alternative medicine sites on the Internet recommend cleaning the teeth with lemon-based solutions. Citrus acids have the tendency to make the teeth feel clean. This occurs partly because the acid strips the teeth of everything, including the minerals bonding with them. It can cause long-term enamel damage; especially when it is combined with abrasives or stiff bristle brushes.

The Bees Are Dying and How Monsanto Will Be Responsible for the Upcoming Famine

"If the bee disappeared off the surface of the globe then man would only have four years of life left. No more bees, no more pollination, no more plants, no more animals, no more man."

-- Albert Einstein

Bees have been slowly declining in number since 1972 [1]. The drop in bee populations was traditionally called "fall dwindle disease", which is cited here for the aid of future research; even though the word disease is not applicable. In 2006, a far more rapid bee population decline ensued. The problem was renamed to "colony collapse disorder", or less frequently "honey bee depopulation syndrome". Despite the various mentally-challenged naming conventions of this problem, it nevertheless is becoming a very serious problem for all of us. Prior to 2006, the gradual decline was attributed to a number of causes, including pesticide use and Varroa mites. By early 2007, the decline had reached new proportions. Bees simply disappeared, instead of dying in their hives. Large bee hives became miniature ghost towns, and there is still no official explanation for the disappearance of the bees.

Doctors Said They Saw An "Excellent Response" To Patrick Swayze's Treatments

In March 2008, the renowned actor Patrick Swayze was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. The medical establishment has deplorable success rates in suppressing pancreatic cancers, and most of their patients die within two years of diagnosis. The mainstream media publicized Swayze's case heavily. The devastating effects of the treatments became very apparent from photographs of him. Patrick Swayze died two years following his diagnosis, following the usual pattern. His quality of life by that time had been completely eroded. Patrick's doctors publicly boasted of Swayze's treatments, as if they represented the gold standard of medical care. An "excellent response" as defined by Swayze's doctors is shown in the images below. You have probably already learned the ultimate conclusion of that "excellent response" from other media outlets. Swayze died on September 14th, 2009, of medicide. The establishment calls these "iatrogenic deaths", because outsiders do not know what the term means.

How Air Fresheners Are Killing You

The residual chemicals from common cleaning and deodorizing products often result in accidental poisonings to the very people who were supposedly being protected. Some toxic chemicals accumulate in ever-increasing amounts in the human body over a period of years, so the health consequences are rarely attributed to them. Victims sometimes suffer from a strange form of cancer, or they might have some new-age disease like chronic fatigue syndrome; and of course, there is the growing popularity of 'genetic disorders'.

You may find the causes of your suffering health in your cleaning products, medicine cabinet, laundry products, foods, municipal water, in "healthy" products (soy, canola, margarine), and in your air fresheners. There is an endless barrage of unregulated, toxic retail products; ranging from Clorox wipes to hand sanitizers and air fresheners. The long-term health consequences of these products multiplied together invariably become much worse than any infection or other seemingly isolated ailment.

Alternative Medicine and Why We Are Proud Not To Be "Scientific"

Demonstrating the principles of modern medical science.

Alternative medicine is often criticized for its use of time-tested methods of observable cause and effect relationships, such as the observation that those who get vaccines can often regress within a short time period, and are disproportionately diagnosed with autism.  A recent fan-mail from an insider commented about our "anecdotal, unfounded, unscientific gobbledygook".  He noticed that we are not "scientific" like the people he considers to be "experts", who by the way, cannot seem to even cure their way out of a runny nose, much less any real disease.  On the other hand, the list of people we have helped to cure is ever growing.

Most people have been taught to expect only thoroughly-tested, scientific methodology from mainstream medicine.  However, nothing could be further from the truth.  The Office of Technology Assessment Health Program was asked by the U.S. Senate Committee on Human Resources to evaluate standard medical procedures in 1978.  They produced the stunning report, Assessing the Efficacy and Safety of Medical Technologies which is being hosted at Princeton University.  It exposed some alarming statistics, which most people will resist believing.  We have archived a copy of the document in case it disappears, as is common for such documents after we cover their story.

Basic Animal Care and Common Sense

We generally do not tackle veterinary issues on this site, due to the overwhelming need for human health information. We must admit to having used veterinary research information to tackle certain diseases, which our medical establishment will not approach with the same openness and honesty.

Pharmaceutical companies routinely target the family dog as a recipient of chemical numbing agents. Just like in the case of children, normal behaviors are suddenly being redefined into the symptoms of disease. When a dog repeatedly digs holes, modern vets are prescribing them with anti-anxiety drugs. When they chase their tails, they are diagnosed with compulsive behaviors, and when they bark too often, they are suffering from "territorial aggression" resulting from anxiety. If a dog appears lazy, he is actually suffering from a depressive disorder (possibly a bi-polar one). In all cases, there are suddenly drugs available. It is very common for families that regularly visit veterinarians to have their animals placed on S.S.R.I.'s. So, the next time a dog attacks somebody, perhaps the family should claim an S.S.R.I. defense prior to it being euthanized.

The Politically Incorrect History of the Original Medical Quacks Who Still Practice in a Hospital Near You

Digitalis

Those who practice 'conventional' medicine are quick to label alternative practitioners as "quacks" for using methods they claim have not been proven, yet have documented to work for thousands of years.  Meanwhile, they likewise follow and trust people who they have never met to do studies which they have never examined.  Information provided by these official studies are seen as more important than their own experiences, or that of their patients.  The ability to observe 'cause and effect' relationships is degraded as 'anecdotal evidence' in modern medicine.  In other words; ignore what you see, experience, or feel unless a pharmaceutical company tells you that it is okay to react in such a way -- then suddenly it's all scientific.

It is this unwavering faith in what they consider true "scientific medicine" which causes doctors to claim there must have been a 'misdiagnosis' whenever alternative medicine cures cancer or diabetes.  However, true science does not fear results or investigation.  Their version of "science" is actually more akin to a religious dogma.  Under their belief system, no healing can be done without a pharmaceutical; despite a large percentage of their own drugs being directly based upon herbal medicines.  Pharmaceutical companies extract key ingredients from herbs, so that the resultant extracts can be patented, since these chemically stripped and concentrated versions "do not appear in nature".  See the sleight-of-hand?

Please Join the Horizon Milk Boycott and Horizon's Dirty Little Tricks

We routinely purchase milk that is pasteurized, but not homogenized.  We recently noticed the presence of Horizon brand, ultra-pasteurized, "organic" milk, during a visit to our local Walmart store.  There was no mention of homogenization on the labels, which I had always assumed was a requirement.  To the contrary, there are actually no mandatory labeling requirements concerning homogenization.

17-Year-Old Girl Denied Citizenship For Refusing Gardasil Vaccine

Meet seventeen-year-old Simone Davis, who has been fighting for nine years to secure an American citizenship.  She was adopted by her grandmother (see image) in the United Kingdom, but the adoption was not recognized here.  This has made fighting for citizenship through her grandmothers marriage very problematic.  Simone has plans to become an elementary school teacher, but this has been stopped by the Immigration and Naturalization Service (I.N.S.).  As a devout Christian, who took a vow of celibacy until marriage, she was immediately offended by the requirement to take the Gardasil (veneral disease) vaccine.  After researching the vaccine extensively, Simone and Jean discovered the many "side-effects", including death.   There are numerous warnings about it from the manufacturer, and other sources.  The horrific nature of the Gardasil vaccine is a topic we covered in detail in The Health Wyze Report  #2 (Audio Edition).

Mandatory Vaccinations: Have A Taste Of Your Own Medicine, Doctor

The swine flu hysteria of 2009 compelled the State of New York to enforce mandatory vaccines on all health care workers. The rules mandated both the seasonal flu and H1N1 (swine flu) vaccines. Other states considered following suit, along with select institutions throughout the U.S.

A huge portion of the effected medical personnel spoke out about their opposition to such rules, and many of them threatened to refuse the vaccines; even at the expense of their employment. The Centers for Disease Control surveyed over a thousand health care professionals, finding that most of them did not take the seasonal flu shot. According to the Associated Press:

"The reasons vary from safety concerns to skepticism over vaccine effectiveness."

The Perversion of the Food Pyramid

Generation II Food Pyramid

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's food pyramid once contained four food groups: fruits and vegetables, meat, grains, and dairy. The fruit and vegetable category made up the base of the pyramid, to show that they were the most important component of the diet. Unfortunately, this superior food pyramid from yesteryear is long gone. It was replaced with a grotesquely-bastardized version (pictured left) that contains five food groups; one of which is comprised of sugars and fats. Perhaps even worse is the fact that carbohydrates were made to be the base of the revisionist pyramid. It was supposed to be a guideline that explained how our foods should be proportioned, but it instead came to identify what we were already eating as a society.

Techniques For Cleansing the Body and Detoxifying

We have received an enormous volume of questions about cleansing. This article attempts to answer the basic cleansing questions. Cleanses should never be attempted during illness. During most cleanses, the toxins that begin flowing throughout the blood prior to being flushed can cause hormone irregularities that lead to mood swings. Loved ones should be warned to expect this before a cleanse is begun.

The Mail Bag #10: Dying and Medicine's Faith Connection

"My 5 year old son was just diagnosed a month and a half ago with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma). This is a brainstem tumor that has an unthinkable prognosis that I can not accept or even entertain. I am reading all of this information about alkaline systems and ph and I am PRAYING that all of this information will be my miracle. I bought the refrigerated organic flax seed oil as well as the full fat cottage cheese and full fat unsweetened, unflavored yogurt. I am planning to give this to my son for the first time tomorrow (possibly with a little raw organic honey if he won\'t eat it otherwise) before he goes for his chemo and radiation treatments. From what I have read, I know that some of you will frown upon these medical choices but I am a mom and I can not and will not take any chances with my baby's life. I am also doing everything I can think of to keep his diet as alkaline as possible and plan to buy ph strips to check this in his urine. PLEASE if there is anyone who has any information that you think could help me, please respond to this. I have also been using the agave nectar to sweeten what he thinks is chocolate milk. He loves chocolate milk so I replaced it secretly with a mixture of breast milk (from my sister-in-law), pure unsweetened almond milk, and organic carob powder and of course a little agave nectar for sweetness. I am not sure if this is ok or if I should use honey or what I should do. If you can help with this aspect as well, I would appreciate it. I need hope but I cant deal with empty promises right now so please only respond if you can help me, thank you."

New York City's Almost Comical Attempts at Curbing Obesity by Ensuring Corporate Appeasement

Mayor of New York City, Michael Bloomberg.  He's making sure that all of New York City's school children get their daily allowance of aspartame — for health reasons.

New York City has higher rates of childhood obesity than the national average, and it is worsening.  When mayor Michael Bloomberg entered office in 2002, he pledged to improve the health of New Yorkers.  Since then, he has led campaigns against smoking and sugar.  Now, the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene is trying to reduce the rates of childhood obesity.  The New York Times reported their lack of success last week.

Upon reading of their methods, their failure is not at all surprising.  Let us not forget that it was New York State that absurdly planned to ban salt in restaurants for the benefit of people's health.  New York State has a history of unwise health policies.  It was the primary location for AIDS experiments on foster care children, during a time when New York City officials would routinely remove children from homes, if their care-givers refused to poison them with experimental drugs.  New York was also the first state to mandate the swine flu vaccine for healthcare workers.  It is worth reminding readers that most New York State health care workers did not want the vaccine shot, because of serious safety concerns, but we are certain they neglected to mention this to their vaccine patients.

A Demonstration of How The Government Protects Big Medica and Big Pharma By Keeping You Ignorant Of Health Information and Afraid Of The Competition

You should be afraid of us, according to the F.T.C.. Watch this video to see why.

It is obvious who is afraid, and they ought to be.  My favorite part was when the narrator told us to be especially afraid of the word "Natural", because after all, chemicals and radiation are safe for the body.  Then he tells us to ignore the testimonials of people who have experience with alternative medicines, because actually paying attention to the factual histories of previous trials is somehow unscientific.  We have come to call this unique version of science, F.D.A. Science.  With this type of science, facts are only facts when they are the right facts (wink) -- the ones good for business.

Naturally Curing Erectile Dysfunction and Impotence

Treating Erectile Dysfunction and ImpotenceThere are 30,000,000 men who experience erectile dysfunction (impotence) in the United States alone. Most are over the age of forty. This is not being mirrored to the same degree in other countries, which affirms that E.D. is not simply a product of aging, or even a particular disease state. It is a product of the unhealthy American lifestyle. Sexual stamina is usually the first thing to go whenever serious health problems begin to develop. This means that sexual problems, such as erectile dysfunction, are usually the first symptoms of other more serious health issues. Conversely, great drive and performance are among the best indicators of excellent health.

The Story of Christopher Pittman, an Antidepressant Murder, and How Chris May Still Be Denied Justice

Christopher Pittman was 12 years old when he fatally shot both of his grandparents, just before setting fire to their house.  He was intoxicated with antidepressants.

After running away one night, state troopers picked him up and took him to an institutional facility for troubled kids.  Whilst there, he was first prescribed Paxil for mild depression.  When taken out of the facility by family members, he was taken to his grandparents, in the hope that the new atmosphere would help him.  He was immediately taken off of Paxil by a new doctor, without a weaning process, and was prescribed Zoloft.  Chris began to complain about side effects, including a burning sensation under his skin and difficulty sleeping.  Instead of removing the new medication, the doctor doubled his dosage.  Five days later, Chris committed the double murder.  The doctor was never charged for malpractice, or his involvement in the murders.  Instead, Chris was arrested, imprisoned for three years prior to his trial, tried in an adult court at age 15, found guilty of murder, and sentenced to 30 years imprisonment.

Say Goodbye To Soft Contact Lens Problems

Those who wear contact lenses probably have experienced some ongoing and persistent problems, especially if they work all day at a computer. Lenses dry out, feel scratchy, and vision is blurred. Eyes become red and uncomfortable, and lenses aren't worn as long as before. Repeated attempts to clean the lenses don't help.

These kinds of problems don't need to occur if wearers understand proper care and maintenance for contact lenses, and adhere to recommended schedules.
